About Caliber

Great at the craft. Buried by the back office.

Every trade, the same problem. Caliber exists to end it.

See how it works

The point

Built for the three people it touches.

Leadership

Command, clean data, and the next level. You stop running the machine by hand.

The crew

A company that runs, and leaders with room to grow them.

The customer

Answered, booked, and taken care of.

Chris Loughney, founder of Caliber

Where it comes from

Ten years on the job with every trade.

Chris Loughney ran a high-end residential design-build firm for over a decade. As the general contractor, he worked beside every trade — plumbers, electricians, HVAC crews — and saw the same pattern on every project.

People exceptional at their craft, consistently stressed and overwhelmed by operations. As he put it: “the same disease in a different body — trade business owners doing everything, with no back office.”

He lived it too. He tracked his own time and found 23 hours a week going to admin that did not require a contractor's license. The most expensive person in the company, doing the cheapest work.

So he fixed it in his own business first — clean systems, admin off his plate, every hour returned as billable work and growth. Caliber exists to bring that to every home-services company.

The lesson that shaped the product

Easy and reliable, or it never gets used.

The home-services software graveyard is full of tools that got bought and never touched.

So Caliber OS is managed and simple by design — built for daily use, not for the demo.

How it actually works

The system does the work. You run the company.

Caliber OS

does the operational work: answers, books, markets, chases, reports. Around the clock.

Caliber, the company

builds it, hosts it, supports it, upgrades it. If it breaks, that is on us.

We are not an agency doing the work with our staff, and not a point tool. The system runs your operation; you stay in command of it.

Dogfood

We run on the same system we sell.

The agent you can talk to on this site is Caliber OS. If it is not good enough to run our business, it is not good enough to run yours.

The principles

What we believe.

Easy and reliable, or it doesn't count

a system nobody uses is worse than none.

Leadership stays in command

it never spends money, and the risky waits for your yes.

We don't fake proof

the system and the roadmap, never results we haven't produced.

We host it, run it, improve it

you don't build an ops department to get one.

One system, one partner, one source of truth

we replace the tangle, not add to it.

The point is to free the people

leadership grows technicians and leads teams.

In sequence

We earn these companies. We don't promise them.

Prove the system live with real companies, complete the layer, then scale. The roadmap is stated plainly, and no result is claimed before a client produces it.

Straight answers.

The company building the operations system for home-services companies — founded by an operator who spent a decade working beside the trades, not a software team studying them from outside.

Because they are among the best businesses in the country and the worst-served by software. Enterprise platforms serve the giants, point tools fix one slice, and the company in between gets neither.

Because no single hire fixes it. The problem is the whole operation, not one seat — so the answer had to be a system, not a person or another tool.

No. The system does the operational work; we build, host, and support the system. You run the company.

The system is real and we are connecting it into live client stacks now. We publish what it does, not results we have not earned.

Run the company. Not the chaos.

See how the system works, and what it costs, in the open.
